I first met Hella when she reached out to me to photograph me for her gallery on Flickr<\/b><\/a>. I was immediately struck by her talent and the emotional depth of her work, which made me eager to learn more about her creative journey. In this interview, I had the pleasure of asking Hella a series of questions about her inspirations, creative process, and the evolution of her unique style in digital photography and art. \u201cThank you very much Marianne for giving me time so that I can express myself on the images that I like to create, I am honored by the attention!<\/p>

I can’t really talk about a creative process from a technical point of view, because I don’t do photography but screenshots in virtual worlds, like SL or OS, the rare photos that I take in real life, however, are treated in the same way but much rarer.<\/p>

Everything works on inspiration, I don’t know what will really happen, it’s instinctive and completely improvised, I go very quickly, sometimes and other times it takes me a lot of time because I experiment with everything I can. I make mistakes and it is by correcting them that I find new ways, so I wait for mistakes like windfalls \ud83d\ude42<\/p>

Influences are everywhere, I am receptive to so many things, colors, sounds, smells as well as of course the influences of other people, I like people who work their images like paintings or drawings and who transform reality into an original subjectivity, these people surely influence me because I appreciate them a lot.<\/p>

Emotions are immense reservoirs in which we draw creativity, sometimes to exhaustion as far as I am concerned, I go to the end of my inspiration, and that is where I realize that creativity is a universal source and when we have detected its origin, we will never be thirsty again, because the source is inexhaustible.<\/p>

As for the programs that help me transform my images, I use a bit of everything that exists, I don’t have anything fixed, everything that is available on the internet as image editing programs, depending on the mood of the moment. I don’t advertise for any.<\/p>

Sometimes when I want to make images, I face the void, it’s very rare but it happens, and everything I do then is bad, the source tap has some failures, it happens, and when it happens, I know it, I just have to wait for an emotion, good or bad because that’s what opens everything.<\/p>

I don’t know about style, I just make images that are windows open on inner worlds, so surely my world is mine and not someone else’s, and the image is affected by it but I don’t pay attention to “the style”. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>

As for photography, I know absolutely nothing about it, I only capture images in 3D worlds and so it is only created from a computer but on the other hand I capture images of 3D avatars and 3D landscapes, it is not an AI that does it, although I also sometimes generate bases by AI but I rework the image a lot afterwards.<\/p>

I do not do exhibitions, it is something that does not interest me, I do not evolve in this art world, I only show my captures on Flickr<\/a>, it is not a job it is a hobby, although I produce a lot, I am not professional.<\/p>

Flickr<\/a> allows me to show my captures and to rub shoulders with nice people who make very beautiful images and who, by their gaze, or their lack of gaze, bring me information that I use to evolve. Flickr<\/a> is a platform that has a lot of different styles and that allows me to present the images in a good format to many people, that suits me well, I’m not looking for anything else.<\/p>

I have done very little collaboration, maybe because I haven’t found the right people for that, because I could like it but I rather believe that you have to let the meetings happen by themselves, it’s a desire, not a calculation and for that you need heart and emotions, it comes or not. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>
